Yesterday, the studio visit was from professional printers, generation press. We finally met Anand, a previous LCA BAGD graduate who we have all heard a lot about. Generation press are an environmentally friendly company.
- They did a collaboration series of posters: NFCU (not for commercial use), which were posted around NY and London. Their logo was not used on this project, it was all anonymous, as they believe in doing things because you want to, not for the money. This is a motto I would like to be able to live by!
- Impressive colour gradient edging
- Printed lots of quality stationary
- Kent Lyons book - pulp to paper, very successful, now even on sale in the design museum
- Use colour mill paper
