Communication is a Virus: Part 2 - Motivation

Motivational Posters

Information from Wikipedia:  Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the British public under the threat of impending invasion. It was little known and never used. The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued by a number of private sector companies, and used as the decorative theme for a range of other products.

Healthy Eating

As I am creating the motivational posters for the subject of healthy eating, I decided to research the topic to help inspire me to write motivational phrases.

Here is some of the information that I found out:

- You need to eat healthily and regularly to have enough energy to be a student, to study hard and party hard!
- At university it may be the first time you are independent and have to cook for yourself so you need to take good care
- Breakfast is the most important meal of the day
- You need 8 glasses of water a day
- Need to eat a variety of food
- Shouldn't allow yourself to many treats
- Eat well for good health and to feel your best
- You need to feed the body the nutrients it needs
- Eat regularly
- The student lifestyle can lead to unhealthy habits such as cheap booze and fast food
- Too much saturated fat increases the amount of cholesterol in the blood
- Fish is a good source of protein and contains many vitamins and minerals
- Try new recipes and cook with friends to make cooking fun
- Many students rely on convenience foods and takeaways. Some students don't have the basic shopping, cooking and budgeting skills to organise a healthy routine
- Cook double of a healthy dish, cool and freeze half for an easier than takeaway meal
- Healthy eating is important when under stress, your body needs good nutrition more than ever
- A sensible diet can help you live life to the full. Keep strong and healthy for all that studying and partying
- Making a packed lunch every day is likely to be healthier and cheaper than other options
- Alcohol is bad for your health and your waistline. Watch out for these calories
- Eat three meals a day plus healthy snacks
- Aim for a colourful plate

Here are some phrases that I thought of after my research:

- A balanced, varied diet is the key to a fulfilled life
- Ready meals are the work of the devil. Its cheaper and more nutritious to do it yourself.
- Five a day is the healthiest way
- Start the day in the healthiest way - breakfast
- Don't give in to cheap booze and fast food
